I strongly believe in prioritizing the story above all else. When lighting a scene, I visualize how it would appear in reality, aiming for a natural look with subtle enhancements. This allows viewers to easily relate and believe what they see on screen, fostering a deeper connection to the story. Working on stories set in fictional worlds is especially exciting, as I collaborate with the director to bring their vision to life. Constructing the visual landscape that complements their creative vision is a process that I thoroughly enjoy.
